The home side, Pakistan, eventually ended up with a total of 205/6, just breaching the 200-run mark in their quota of 50 overs. Skipper Fatima Sana (62* off 59 balls) stayed unbeaten on a brisk half-century, and Sidra Amin was another batter to score a half-century with the bat for Pakistan. While Muneeba Ali (18 off 33 balls), Diana Baig (10* off 6 balls), and Sidra Nawaz (11 off 42 balls) entered the double digits with the bat for their side.
Thipatcha Putthawong (10-2-37-2) was the standout performer with the ball for Thailand, while Phannita Maya (6-19-1), Onnicha Kamchompu (9-2-39-1), and Nattaya Boochatham (10-1-37-0) were impressive with the ball for Thailand.

Chasing a target of 206, the Thailand batters succumbed to the scoreboard pressure as they never really got the momentum in the run chase, losing wickets at regular intervals. Thailand were eventually bundled out for 118 in the 35th over of the run chase, as a result, falling 87 runs short of the target.
The 27-run partnership for the 2nd wicket between the wicket-keeper batter Nannapat Koncharoenkai (19 off 17 balls) and Nattaya Boochatham (16 off 31 balls) was the highest partnership of the run chase. Suwanan Khiaoto (15 off 31 balls), Natthakan Chantham (13 off 34 balls), and skipper Naruemol Chaiwai (12 off 21 balls) were the only batters to enter the double digits with the bat for Thailand.
Nashra Sandhu (8-1-19-3), Rameen Shamim (7.4-1-18-3), and skipper Fatima Sana (8-0-39-3) picked up three wickets each and were the top performers with the ball for Pakistan.
